Accompanying Sr.Ms. De Ruyter on entry into Amsterdam

The second edition of Amsterdam Seaport Days (June 22-25) will be graced with the arrival of the Zr.Ms. De Ruyter.

The air defense and command frigate (LCF) will arrive in IJmuiden on Friday evening and steam up to the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam on Saturday morning.

The River Dream of Amsterdam Boat Cruises is escorting the Zr.Ms. De Ruyter to Amsterdam and offers enthusiasts the opportunity to experience this from our ship as well.

On Saturday, June 24 at 9:30 a.m., we will depart from Steiger 14 (the jetty right next to where the ferries leave for Amsterdam-Noord) and will sail to meet the Sr.Ms. De Ruyter.

At the height of approximately the Coentunnel, we will sail with the Zr.Ms. De Ruyter towards the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam where the Zr.Ms. De Ruyter will dock.

Afterwards around 11:30 a.m., we will drop you back off at Pier 14.

Cruise Tour

Especially for Seaport Days Amsterdam, on Sunday, June 25, a Cruise Cruise Tour will be conducted 4 times from the Zouthaven (harbor near the Bimhuis / Muziekgebouw aan het IJ).

You can get up close and personal with cruise ships and the Zr.Ms. De Ruyter at Cruise Port Amsterdam. At the same time, you'll get to hear an interesting story about the past, present and future of sea and river cruising in Amsterdam from the guide sailing with you.

The boat trip to and from Salt Harbor takes about one hour.
