Departure location
Our departure location is located on the former NDSM shipbuilding yard, diagonally across the street from Central Station in Amsterdam Noord.
The NDSM wharf is a rugged, adventurous and iconic area on the IJ. The free character, the post-industrial buildings and the creative atmosphere form the backdrop where culture, self-organization and urban development come together.
Our departure location is easily and quickly accessible by public transport, car, coach and bicycle.

With public transport:
Two free ferries run directly from Amsterdam Central Station to the NDSM wharf, which are accessible to pedestrians and cyclists and moped riders.
From Amsterdam Central you get on at the purple F4 ferry, the leftmost ferry to “NDSM”. During peak hours the ferry leaves every 15 minutes, otherwise every half hour; quarter to and quarter past. The ferries run every day until 11:45 PM and the sailing time is approximately 15 minutes.
We ask you to be present at our departure location at least 15 minutes before departure, so take into account the time you need to get to us from Amsterdam Central station.
By car:
You can easily park in the vicinity of our departure location.
Parking on the NDSM site costs € 1.40 per hour. You can pay at the parking meter with pin or via the Yellowbrick / Parkline parking apps, parking codes 19586/19587. Our ship is located next to the ferry and you can use Ms. Enter van Riemsdijkweg 45, 1033 RC Amsterdam.
Departure location Luxury Canal Cruises through the Amsterdam canals:
Our departure location for our luxury cruises through the Amsterdam canals is located in City Marina IJdok, within walking distance of the central station and close to the Jordaan and the Haarlemmerdijk. This harbor is located directly on the IJ in the center of Amsterdam, next to the sunny terrace of the new hotel of the international hotel chain Room Mate. Within 12 minutes you can walk from the central station to our jetty. The address of our departure location is IJdok in Amsterdam. You can enter IJdok 2, 1013 MM Amsterdam as the navigation address.
With public transport:
The Amsterdam central station is of course very easy to reach by bus and train. It is a 12-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station to our jetty in City Marina IJdok. We ask you to be present at our departure location at least 15 minutes before departure, so take into account the time you need to get to us from Amsterdam Central station.
By car:
You can easily park in the Interparking IJdok parking garage, located next to City Marina IJdok. The Interparking IJdok parking garage is open 24/7 and you can find more information at: https://parkereninijdock.nl/informatie/
